Grief Recovery Method | One-on-One

Our Grief Support One-On-One sessions provide you with a safe, supportive environment to look at your ideas and beliefs about dealing with loss; understand how a loss has affected your life, and allow you to make choices that help address and complete your relationship with the pain. These sessions are led by Sissi O'Shaughnessy, a Grief Recovery Method Specialist, trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute. She is also a Certified Grief Educator studying under David Kessler and a Conscious Parenting Practitioner.

The Grief Recovery Method® is an evidenced-based and action-based methodology. Homework includes reading and writing assignments as outlined in The Grief Recovery Handbook – 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition. Completing the homework is mandatory. Book and materials are included.

The One-On-One Workshop is not a drop-in event. This results-based, 7-Lesson schedule is determined by your personal preferences and availability.

Options

Choice 1:  Complete 7 Sessions in 7 Consecutive Weeks 

This option requires meeting once per week, with time for reading and written homework assignments, completed once per week. 

Choice 2:  Complete 7 Lessons with Flexible Scheduling (Up to 10 Weeks)

This option offers a slightly more flexible schedule for meeting once every 7 to 10 days, giving extra time for reading and written homework assignments, completed in time for the next session (no longer than 10 weeks total). 

Choice 3:  Complete 7 Sessions in 3.5 Weeks 

This option requires meeting online twice per week, with extra set aside for reading and written homework assignments, completed every 3 to 4 days.

• One-on-One Online Grief Recovery Workshop is facilitated by an Advanced Certified GRM Specialist™.
• Sessions are online, lasting 60-minutes each.
• Session 1 begins with homework in advance of our first meeting. Your book and homework is sent as soon as you enroll.

• Our in-person workshop is facilitated with individuals located in Natick, MA
• Sessions are in-person, lasting 60 minutes each at a pre-determined location. 
• Homework begins after the first session.

Please make a 50% deposit to hold your spot ($250). Remaining dues will be collected after the 4th session.

Book and materials are included as part of your workshop investment.
